NYX secret world. Ten pan palette review :)

Hey guys :) As of recently ive been looking to expand my same old boring eye shadow colours, now i'm not saying if you were browns and blacks every day your boring but im trying to explore new colours :)

I have recently bought this NYX palette and could not be more happier!

This palette has such a wide range of colours from orange to brown, peach to green, there is something for everyone!

Now im not one to smear pink eye shadow all over my eye lids and say "perfect" and go! No no, i love a good auld smokey eye! This kit is perfect for that. Lately i have been using the carrot orange colour on my inner corner and then smoking it out with the deep brown! It looks gorgeous!

This palette is seriously such a bargain! For ten pan shadows its $10! Meaning each eye shadow is only $1!
The price is amazing, and i would definitly recommend this to anyone! I know many times you can spend up to €50 on eye shadow palettes and theres always some colours in the palette that you will not wear, yes i agree i may not be the biggest green fan, but for such a good price i cannot complain!

The packaging is absolutely amazing. I was expecting something flimsy and something that would smash easily. I was so wrong. The black plastic is very dense and hard, the mirror inside is glued in so well you would want to throw it to smash it. I have dropped this several times and still have yet to have a chip!
The pans are nice and secure and around them is a dense plastic lip protecting them from the upper case. The case itself clicks together and it very dense. It is literally fool proof. For a cheaper item it has very high quality packaging!

The colour outcome is amazing! There is no colour in this palette that is lacking pigmintation! They all have a creamy, satin feel! The first time i touched the eyeshadows i was confused, they were so soft and gentle i taught they were cream shadows!

Rubber and worn without primer they do not last too long!

I would suggest using this palette with a primer, as they are shimmer eye shadows. I know many people do not love shimmer so much but worked in well they look lovely!

These pictures above are taken with a flash and are very true to colours in real life!

The ingredients etc!

I have included the link to where you can buy this palette! I would definitly recommend this palette i you are a lover of creamy, satin, smooth, shimmery and colour palettes! NYX also ship all over the world so there is no excuse not to try it :)

The WORST foundation i have ever used... Collection 2000 review

I bought this foundation last week and i was shocked at how bad it was.

I have very dry skin and completely forgot that matte foundation would just not work for me. But lately seeming it was summer my skin can get very oily because of the heat. I wanted a foundation that would not leave me looking shiny and greasy! So thinking logically this foundation would be perfect right? NO! Such a waste of my money!
Naturally matte foundation, collection 2000, ivory and blonde!

I have tried to use this on people with oily skin, it does not work!
Darker toned people, does not work!
Mixed with moisturizer, does not work!
I have tried it with a spounge, doesnt work!
A brush, my finger, all types of stuff, doesnt work!!!

:(

The product has:
  • Have no smell (which is good!)
  • Cheap price
  • Nice packing less waste as its squeezy!
  • Orange colour
  • Too dark
  • Thick
  • Not many colour choices
  • Uva and ray protection
The back of the ivory packing :)

So What do Collection 2000 actually say about this product?

"Designed to combat the effects of oily or combination skin, this fabulous new product gives you the perfect base to stay looking totally gorgeous all day long.
Contains grape extract, one of the skin's secret weapons in the battle against wrinkles, protecting against those fine lines that build up over time.!

Collection 2000 has released this as a "new product" but i am convince its there old product "matte foundation" in a new tube. The colour and texture are the same!  It says "new formulated" i am not a believer of this at all!

I'm not totally bashing this product, yes it does give a matte finish. But who has the natural skin tone of an orange?

I am so disappointed with this product, i do love collection 2000's other products but do not waste your money on this please, unless the orange look is your favorite ;)

Not pleased at all with this foundation! I look pale here with lighting, sadly with colour i am orange!
Happy Make UP days :)

Moisturized, Luscious, creamy legs?!? Tesco reveiw

Hey guys, today i have a totally unusual and wacky haul, but lets face it everyone has to do it?

Yes, yes as scared as i am to say this its shaving! Whether it be, leg,  bikini line or underarms we all do it! Its a natural thing ;)

I have recently found this amazing shaving line from TESCO? What a random place to find something like this eh?

I picked these all up for under €6 including the razor, which is nearly cheaper than some Gillette shave gels!

This product claims to "Have a rich berry fragrance, enriched with moisturizers, its luscious creamy lather helps your razor glide over the skin smoothly".

Rich berry fragrance they say?
Do i agree with this? Sort out, the shave gel does have a very sweet scent, but i would say its more fresh than anything, its not over whelming which i like, because the last thing i want after a nice long shower is to smell of shaving gel!

The gel itselt is amazing, it comes out in a pink gel and once rubbed onto clean skin turns into a smooth creamy thick shaving cream! No nasty lumps. Its so easy to apply!

This is suitable for the bikini line, underarms and legs. I agree with this statement, As i have tried other expensive brands and sadly i have had a sensitive reaction. I did not have that with this.

My legs felt, sleek, smooth and amazingly soft!

Tesco satin feel shave gel €1.60! Amazing!!!

The razor is the hiden gem within this brand. It is a triple bladed flexible razor, that comes with a protective case and sucution cup for the door or wall of your shower! For under €2 i think thats a bargain! Tesco also do a disposable version of this but they are not as good quality.

I find the razor works best when used with the matching gel, because the formula is thick and the blades are flexible it does not cut, burn or rub off your skin!

It gives a close and comfortable shave and has been "specially designed using advanced technology".
To be honest, its a razor, i wouldnt say its out of this world. But for the feel you get i would buy this over any other cheap or expensive razor!

I have had no reaction or no nasty shave burn from this, where as i have used other brands for women and ended up with burns! We all know how painful they are! :(

Tesco satin feel triple razor! €2.04 amazing!

The last item is the razor refils. These things are a bargain! I have often bought more expensive refills and they are nearly 2 times the price of the normal razor up to 10/12 euro? Pure madness!

These come in a pack of four and are easy to use. They simply snap in and off you go!
They have the same 3 blades and are extremly flexible! I often change mine once every two weeks because they are so cheap but more companies recommend change it once a month!

Tesco satin triple blade refill's 4's around €2.00!!!

Over all i am so happy i tried these out, i was scared at first over how cheap the price was but now i am extremly happy!

Summer may be over, but its still warm enough to have our legs out :)

Happy shaving!

Diy tote/college bag (no sewing)

Hey guys...another super simple follow along diy :-)
This time a cute tote/college bag!!!

The end result pretty happy with it :) Ignore the wrinkles :)

This is perfect for college. Work. Shopping. Gym. School. Anything.
Its super simple and pretty much free and cheap.
It is totally versatile :-) you can add anything you want to make it unique.

What you need:

21" X 18" material [i used a bed sheet]

Roughly 93 X 54 cm
A belt (i used a 24" black belt)
Duck tape (any colour)
Stapler or needle and thread
Iron

Step one:

Cut your material into two large pieces of 21" X 18" or one large piece of 36" X 21" (fold in half skip step four)

cutting the sheet :)

Step two:

Iron all creases out of material,
Including the back of material

Step three:

On back of material line with duck tape. Make sure to smooth it out so there is no air bubbles. You will need alot of duck tape. So make sure to have a new roll.

Step four:

Using a Stapler staple all the side together apart from the top on bag. Try make this as straight as you can. Zig zag is not good! Right side. Left side and bottom.
If using needle and thread. Sow left side.. Right side and bottom in a simple stitch creating a bag.

Stitching the edges :)

Step five:

Cover stiching or staples with duck tape. This makes the lining smooth

Step six:

Taping the bag :)

From top of bag. Fold down one inch. This will create a flap to attach handles.
Measure 6" in from sides this is where you mark to attach handles.

Step seven:

cut belting in half. Make sure its thick and strong. Otherwise will snap.

Step eight:

On flap you created either sow or staple handles. On flap only to hide staples/stichs.
Sow or staple multiple times to make sure its secure. :-)
Duck tape this flap to the bag multiple times to make it secure.

Step nine:

Pop bag out. Completed :-)

Step ten:

Optional. If you want a flat bottomed bag. Turn inside out. And lie corner flat. Measure to 7" width then stich here or staple. Cover staples/stichs with duck tape.
Then turn to outside. You should have two flaps inside. Tape these to bag and there you go.
If you will be carrying heavy items multiple amount of duck tape.
This makes bag very secure.
Before using to flatten bottom. Place in books and heavy items to make it flat.
Overall this took me one hour as i was sewing it. :-) i used grey duck tape and a red and white checkered bed sheet.
My bag

The bed sheet have it years!!!

Stapler from home
Belt from home
Duck tape €2
Needles and thread €1

Overall cost €3!!!
Its a bargain and so cheap.
Try it out and let me know.

Happy DIY!!!

TRESemme Split Remedy Intense Recovery Mask review! :)

Another hair mask? But this stuff is amazing, its so creamy and thick! Smells divine, leaves your hair smelling gorgeous :)

According to the jar it says:

Use a couple of times a week to provide an intense recovery to parched, dried out ends & lengths. This nourishing rinse out masque eliminates up to 80% of split ends in just three uses. The perfect intense treatment to restore overall hair health and condition.'

Now im not saying that its something out of this world amazing, you wouldnt pay €8 for that! But, its fantastic for what you pay! i know the 80 times better split ends may seem a bit extreme, but it really is a nice glass of water to thirsty hair!

If you have dull, long, short, dry, split hair! This stuff is for you! I use this once a week, and then home made hair conditioners and my hair has never felt so good! :)

i got this in tesco and at the moment they are doing 3 for 2! :) So that makes it even cheaper on the pocket!

Another happy hair day :)
