3 MINUTE MIRACLE COLOUR DEEP TREATMENT

Has your hair ever been damaged brittle or simply too hard to get that salon style back into? If its coloured, and lets face it girls not many of us are natural blonde or brunette as we pretend! But now..
I have a new solution! :)

3 MINUTE MIRACLE COLOUR DEEP TREATMENT From Aussie Hair Care! This stuff is amazing. It is now only £3 and its €5.95 which isn't a very fair conversion but hey, for what you get its worth the price. This smells divine! Its made with natural wild Australian peach extract and comes in this limited edition bottle at the moment. Usually the bottle is a little less colourful but is an excellent formula!

The bottle is the only bit i don't like. Its meant to help you in the shower without having to open an awkward bottle top. But you have to squeeze it and sadly sometimes it wont work! The plastic is too hard, its the only problem i have.

Its so easy to use! All i do is wash my hair like normal with regular shampoo and the most important bit is to TOWEL DRY your hair before putting in the product. This will allow the hair to absorb more of the product rather than coating the hair.

Then apply to ends and roots of hair leave for 3-5 minutes and wash out and then your hair will feel amazing.  I know most hair treatments pretend they will give you instantly shiny hair but this really does do what it says on the bottle!

Happy Hair days!

Shoe-aholic Heaven!!

Shoes shoes shoes shoes heaven!
I've been shoe shopping! I have to admit like every other girl, they have to be one of the most love things in the world!
No matter if you get bigger or smaller, your shoe size will always stay the same! Thank god! They are the only thing that don’t make you feel guilty for eating chocolate!
So here are some of my recent finds! J
Firstly I found these in Korgys shops in Dublin. But looking on the website, is great too, they have free shipping and also a great returns policy scheme. So if the shoe doesn't fit. Cinderella can still swap them to make them fit!
First are a raspberry pair of patent pointed toed shoes from Korgys and they are €44.99 such a great price for a great quality pair of shoes. I picked these cause I love the colour of them so much!
Staying with summer colours I picked these Coral Suedette cut-out wedge sandals. These are the comfiest shoes ever! I have them in black and I can last all night in them! Cut out is so popular this season that you can keep with this style on your feet. The wedge is about 6 inches high but with the large platform they are very forgiving on feet.  These are €39.99 a very good price for summer i think and with the suedette cover they last forever!
These come in lots of different colours! Black, Coral, yellow, green, beige lots of summer colours perfect to get those legs out!
I have to admit these boots are not my favorite boots I've ever seen. I dont think ill be running out to buy them any time soon but they might suit some peoples taste! They are black corset style boots again from Korgys and are now €40 they were €69.99!! Thats a huge saving! These are more of a winter style boot but would be perfect to buy now to save you extra money when it comes back to autumn time! :)
These beige cross over strap wedges are the MOST comfiest wedges i have ever worn. I have had mine in black for over a year and a half and i wear them out anytime i go out and they are perfect. They match everything and they are literally weightless and do not rub or irritate the skin. These are again €39.99 and with free shipping its a bargain!!! They also come in so many colours. Korgys is really a good option to buy shoes online. They go on normal size shoes. None of this small or large fitting style shoe.
This next pair may look the exact same but they are actually slightly differnt. These are in bright yellow and have the same sole as all the Korgys shoes. The wedge is cork and is so light and bouncy they are so easy to walk in. There is no falling over or in these! Instead of being cross over they have more cut outs on them.
This last pair is from Korgys.ie aswell and they are €39.99 aswell. They are suede ankle wedge boots. I definitely think i will be buying these. They have a really secure ankle strap and a beautiful open toe hole and a  very attractive criss cross strap. They have got to be some of my favorite wedges. Who said wedges are only for the beach? :P
The next few pairs of shoes are from Asos.Com and again they have free postage so buying from them is simple. I have bought many things of Asos and the size is generally true to size.
The first pair is a flat pair of gladiator style sandles. Perfect for summer sunshine!! As the website says they are "exciting and diverse, the ASOS Collection makes and breaks the fashion rules". They have a very pretty leather upper and a secure and strudy base.
This next pair is also from Asos.com and is only €13.58 which i personally think is a bargain. They are simple and versatile. They would go with any outfit. Often pennys/primark sells cheaper copies of these but seeming they are plastic they can rub and irritate toes. This pair has a leather look alike effect and is well worth the price.
I am in love with this next pair of shoes!!! I want these, i just wish i could afford them!! They are only €65.15 i guess if you say it fast they sound better? no? Well there is free shipping that's a plus?
They are black and white and really really catch the eye. I genuinely think i am in love :(
With the high ankle strap they are sure to stay on and also provide a more comfy fit. The wedge is not too high and would go with any summer dress! A chance to good to miss :)
Nearly finished, and the rest of these are from BooHoo.Com. If you read my blog you know i am OBSESSED  with Boohoo. The only thing i don't like is the €5 shipping cost. But hey, there stuff is still a bargain even with that price! :)
This next pair are tuirquise and are from BooHoo. They are €40 and are the "ariella" style heel. This colour is beautiful and the beige soul is very pleasing to the eye!
The next pair are again from BooHoo.Com and is The "isra" style shoe and they are coral wedge boots! These are gorgeous. The heel is quite large but with the platform they would be super easy to walk in. They have no straps so these boots are glued to your feet all night long or day :P No matter where you wear these you are bound to stand out! :)
A very Lady-Gaga inspired pair of shoes now. These are the "Olivia" pink leather boots. They are a copy of the famous black boots often worn by Lady Gaga. These are a more wearable version. I personally would never buy these but these would wow any outfit! They are only €45 and i imagine they would be extremely comfotable because they are laced boots.
Here's a more out there version of these boots really not for the "casual or laid back dresser". These are bold and in your face!  They are the Brooklyn American Flag Extreme Platform Shoe Boot and are only €40. Great value for what they are!!
These would be perfect for a Halloween or fancy dress outfit but not advised for your regular night out or walk down the town as the heel is super super high!
I am also seriously interested in buying these shoes too! But you could easily transform a pair of old heels into this design with some cheap studs. These are the "maya" style from BooHoo and are very trendy at the moment. The heel isn't too high and they are pure black. These would give a nice edge to any outfit and are also €45. They come in many sizes!
These next boots are only €20 and only have size 3 left! So any one who is a size 3 would be crazy to miss this opportunity! They are gorgeous leather look alike boots in brown and i am so jealous they don't have any other sizes. :(
They are the "Shanice Fringed Antique distressed Leather Look Worker Boot" a bargain for €20! They have a very cute fringe detail on the toe of the boots and a chocolate coloured leather outting!
This last pair again is only in size 3 but they are only €15!!! That is so cheap it is unbelievable! :) You can get them on BooHoo.Com and they are black and leather style boots. "Clemmie Grey Zip Side Distressed lace up Worker Boots". These are a great cheaper version of the combat boots that were extremely trendy last year. These are perfect for any pair of jeans or cute dress to add a more combat side.
Happy Shopping!

Baylis and Harding Luxury Sweet Madrin and Grapefruit Giftset!

Recently I got this Baylis and Harding giftset! Im not usually a fan of bath sets at all but this one had potential as it came in a huge gift box perfect as a jewellery box!

The giftset is only €40 and its great value for all the contents inside.

The box itself is great, its huge and has 4 large drawers.

In the first drawer was the Baylis and Harding Sweet Madrin and Grapefruit Indulgent body butter. I loved this product straight away. I expected it to smell extremly sweet and over whelming. But it wasn’t! I was so happy. It was a sweet scent but not over powering. The body butter is actally really creamy and works well as an all over body butter!

The next product is a luxurious Baylis and Harding body luffe! Its cream and quite large. These things aren’t anything special, but this one is really pretty and would look perfect in any bathroom!

The next shelf had four mini products:
  • Baylis and Harding Luxury Sweet Madrin and Grapefruit balancing body wash! It smells just like the body butter and when used in the shower with the body butter after the smell is heavenly. The shower gel is creamy and very relaxing

  • Baylis and Harding Luxury Sweet Madrin and Grapefruit indulgent moisturising hand lotion. Im not the biggest fan of hand lotions cause most of them are extremly oily and stay on the skin for a long time. This hand lotion is very moisturinsing and is extremly helpful for helping to soften cuticles and cracked skin on the hands.

  • Baylis and Harding Luxury Sweet Madrin and Grapefruit body smooth polish. This product is a very gentle body exfoliater. Perfect to use before you do your tan! I use this with exfoliater gloves once or twice a week and you get baby soft skin and hey it smells great too!

  • Baylis and Harding Luxury Sweet Madrin and Grapefruit luxery shower crème. This is very like the shower gel only a little more creamy.

The next shelf is just larger bottles of the shower gel and the body lotion! This box is such a bargain. You get tons and tons of products!

It also comes with a cute white face towel and a bar soap of the gorgeous Mandrin and Grapefruit scent. Perfect to leave beside any sink!

Overall the kit is a bargain. I have gotten so much use out of this kit. For someone who hates bath sets and gift sets this has completely changed my mind. The price. The scent. The quality have all changed my mind J

Do it yourself gone wrong

Recently ive been getting full heads of blode highlights. Expensive and so privey I decided to go to a more affordable option the hair college. Right beside my college so it made perfect sense to go. It was easy, convenient and free!! I went from a medium brown to a honey blonde within 6 full heads of highlitgshs. On the third set I could really see a good change of colour.

At first I was very hesitant to go to such a bright blonde and that’s why it took me so many months to get an all over blonde colour. For most people this only takes 3 months as they use bright blondes with honey tones. I only wanted honey tones. I had a section of my hair that were never hightened aroud my side fringe to give a more natural effect to my hair. For months as my highlights grew out I had no roots. It was the best idea I had ever heard of.

One night I got it into my hair, that I wanted to be bright blonde, all over. Ignoring all the honey tones just pure blonde. I went to my nearest tesco extra and bought two boxes of XXL live blonde die in 00a.I had previously used this hair dye a year ago when I was my naturally colour, which is a mousey light brown/blonde colour. Disaster my whole head went bright orange and yellow all over.

For some reason I taught if I had highlights in my hair it would go the gorgeous platinium colour on the outside of the box.

So I opened the box and followed every single warning on. Making sure to only highlight my roots and not to place it on the dye that was already in the highliths. Light with light will only go lighter.

Sadly within 10 minetes I could see my hair go a fantastic orange colour. Which I hated. L I was so sad to see months of colouring my hair had been destroyed in seconds. So I left it in for 30 more minetes as the box said. And my hair looked ginger, orange and yellow all over it was awful.

The next day I woke up hoping that it would have faded. Sadly, this didn’t happen and my hair had only gotten brighter as it dried over night. I called peter marks and booked in for a full head of highlights, all over  colour and contrasting low lights. Kate 0 – Bank Balance 1

I taught my doing a home kit I would save hundreds of euro, but actually I ended up spending three times what I would have spent! Lesson is learnt and I will never home die my hair again.

On the plus side my hair is blonder than I ever wanted it to be and thank god for my hair dresser I no longer have orange hair! Do NOT try this at home!!

Confessions of an online shopaholic

Confessions of an online shopaholic

Whether it is window shopping or screen shopping us girls have to admit we can become slightly addicted to shopping. Nothing else satisfies that feeling of finding the new perfect dress or the perfect going out heels!

I’ve recently become even more addicted to dress shopping. With Boohoo, Asos and River Island having sales non stop its makes that price even more acceptable!

Why is online shopping so easy? Not purely for laziness but it is so easy to shop online as its 24/7, you don’t have to leave your warm house, or even wander around huge shopping centres trying to hide from the rain! HEAVEN!

One thing you’ll notice about this blog is they are mostly all skater dresses. I am in love with their design. They hit your waist at such a good length and don’t cling to your body. They give great emphasis to your top half and really flatter your arm. All in all they are my favourite style of dresses.

I bought this pink dress today and I am in LOVE!

Its £12 and then an additional £3.95 for everything. But in I think that’s a bargain when converted into euro its €19.35, under €20 I have every excuse to buy it J

Its one of my friends birthdays soon and I think this will be perfect for this occasion.

You can get this on RiverIsland.com but there’s only size 8, 10, 12 and 14 left so I’d say you’d want to grab this while you can
Click here to buy it now :)

The next dress I am obsessed with is this laser cut out dress from Boohoo.com and its €26 which isn’t too bad for a going out dress. But I just can’t see the logic in buying this dress as with Boohoo you have to pay €5 with every order you make for delivery. Which is cheaper than River islands £3.95 but it would make the dress then €31 a price I do not think its worth. Even though it is a gorgeous dress. Maybe next time.

It comes in loads of sizes and two colours. A gorgeous eye catching bold pink and a simple, clean and fresh white. This dress is really eye catching and the cut out detail is very flattering!
Click here to buy it :)

I was seriously tempted to buy this next dress. But as I had already gotten one I couldn’t be too selfish! This dress is beautiful. And it comes in three colours. Royal blue, coral and pink. It has a sweet heart neck line which is flattering for the larger or smaller chested woman. It adds great emphasis on the chest and gives those girls some great cleavage! J

This dress comes with a black belt and for €26 again it’s a bargain. The Boohoo quality is fantastic. True to size, length and colour!

This next dress is more of a formal wear dress. It’s from Asos.com. Its €33.95 but such a worthy price. It is 100% polyester and has a beautiful neck line. It is quite short but perfect for summer time. This is perfect for any occasion but could be dressed up for a formal event.
It’s a Max C dress who often has designs on the Asos websites. It looks very like dresses that you often find in H&M and is a bargain at its price as the shipping is free to Ireland!

Another gorgeous dress is from Asos.com and it’s their Jovonnist Dress with Belt. It is €33.94 and I am seriously tempted to buy this one. It comes in red and white or black and white. But I am in love with the belt it comes with. It has a gold bow detail and it’s perfect for cinching in any waist size. The wide strap makes this dress flattering for any size person as it covers and hides all chests whether they are large or small.

Its length is perfect hitting mid thigh. Avoiding awkward flashes on a night out. I am seriously in love with this dress. Just need to convenience my bank balance!!

I have chosen this dress to be last as it is my least favourite. It’s also from Asos.com and it’s the ASOS Summer Dress in Bow Back. It has a simple front with a cross over shoulder design with a peek-a-boo hole showing cleavage. This peek-a-boo design is not very flattering on smaller chests as it shows the size of women’s chests very accurately.

But the back makes up for it. It has a BOW!!! A big huge bow! And I love bows. I think the back of this dress is nicer than the front. It comes in two colours. Bold Red or Royal Blue and has a very pretty print. It has tiny petal cut out on it. Very flattering to the eye. The back is not a dramatic back cut out. And I genuinely think it would suit any body shape. As it cuts out until mid back. And then cinches in the waist with large waist panel. The price is perfect and this dress is extremely summery. Something too good to miss.

Primark / Penny's Haul

Primark / Penny’s Haul

I know I have been MIA (missing in action) but with exams and college finishing up i just haven't had much spare time! So i took a well deserved shopping break and headed to Primark.

No matter if you call it Primark or Penny’s we all love how cheap it is! This is a haul from the last time I called into Penny’s! I just can’t pass a bargain!

So its summer time! I should be out buying cute summer dresses and sandals but no I end up in the home ware section of penny’s.

Everyone knows I am obsessed with Yankee Candles but for 50cent I couldn’t resist these gorgeous little candles! Normally twice the price they are still a bargain! In total I bought 8. Yes you may think that’s too many but hey that’s only €4!

They have so many flavours, lime zest. A gorgeous fresh scented lime candle. Smells exactly like a freshly squeezed lime!

Lotus flower, a sweet scented candle. This one is my favourite smells just like a fresh flower and lights up any room!

Vanilla pod, typical vanilla scented candle! Not over powering and doesn’t smell like the typical vanilla candles that smell of cake batter. Not as sweet as other vanillas. But you get what you pay for!

Sweet poppy, this smells like what it says on the tin. Sweet poppies? If there is such a thing! This gorgeous scent would melt and sooth any stressed head. Lighting this sends an aroma around a room and smells just like the middle of a poppy field!

Cotton fresh, I am so happy I found this candle! It smells just like fresh laundry and cotton blankets by Yankee candle. The small of those usually sell for €6 - €8 but I grabbed this gorgeous dupe for 50 cent! Happy days!

I also got a more “pricey” candle at €3 for penny’s that’s expensive. But compared to normal candles that’s nothing! One of my favourite scents is Peach Mango Salsa by Yankee Candle and this Mango Pineapple candle by Primark is an exact copy! For a fraction of the price. And had a gorgeous flower effect this is perfect for me! I am in love!!

A cluttered room? YES L
Sadly I hate to admit it; we all have it but just won’t accept it. A cluttered room. With fleeces that are three sizes too big, tops that are probably too small. But I just can’t give them away L so my new solution? VACUM BAGS!

No no not the bags that go into a Hoover. But storage bags, these things are genius.
You simple pop your clothes into them. Seal it with the special clip. And then suck all the air out with the Hoover. Takes about 5 seconds and you can save up to 75% storage space. Now that’s handy.

I don’t know why? But I decided to pick this charm bracelet up for a friend of mine. It was a bargain and im like a magpie im addicted to anything shiny! I got a cheery, dog, teddy and ice cream charm. In total this cost €8 a price you can’t really complain about. In silver it pretty much goes with everything!

Dry shampoo, as much as we deny that we use it. It saves so much time and is a life saver when your stuck somewhere with no towels! Dry shampoo. I said id try this new dry shampoo from Shame 10 and its there dry mist shampoo. Simply spray into hair, massage in. Leave for 3 minutes and instant clean hair.  I wouldn’t advise using this as your daily shampoo, but as I have blonde hair its great to make it look brighter to cover your roots, or even use every second day in between washing! At €1.50 it smells clean, looks clean and is a bargain!

Now the next product people will either love or hate. When a friend suggested these extensions to me, I instantly said no!!! I taught they would be waxy, brassy and yellow. But I was so surprised when I saw them. They were €8 for four pieces of hair extensions. And the colour matched my hair perfectly. I have priced many hair extensions for my shade of hair and the cheapest are Hairspray hair extensions that are €35 but they only come with one hair piece. But the penny’s ones come with 4!!!

Sadly they are synthetic hair so I can only wear them straight. But if I wanted to curl them, I could simple wrap them around a pencil and clip with a bobby pin and over night they will form a loose curl. Or even wrap the hair around pencils and dip into hot water. This will leave a permanent curl in the hair, but this takes the shine off them, leaving them matte and shorter. Overall these look realistic and I really can’t complain about the piece. Just the sound of them would put you off.

A hair doughnut, no no you can’t eat this. But it does make your hair look fantastic. To the naked eye this may look like a large piece of mesh. But these little things have saved my life. Simply put hair up into a pony tail with a bobbin or hair elastic and then pop that pony tail through the hole, wrap hair over it and secure with a bobby pin or elastic, instant bun. Takes two seconds and lasts all day or night.

Sometimes I sweep my hair to the side and use these, looks glamorous and costs nothing. Compared to an expensive hair appointment. At €1.50 another bargain from penny’s!

I got these earings on a spur of the moment thing. Have still yet to wear them but i love the look of them. There cream large shell earings and they were €1.50. Im sure ill find a use just regret buying them a little. Each to their own!

And the last thing I got, I stumbled across in the home section. I’ve always been looking for an over the door holder for shoes but often find the material too cheap. I got one for myself, my mum and my twin. But I really didn’t expect them to be so cheap. They were on clearance for €1 usually there €4 I was gobsmacked. So glad I bought this product. It can hold 20 pairs of shoes and also comes with the clips to connect it to the door. This is perfect for shoes, jewellery or even little bits and bobs.

Overall, I find Primark/Penny’s additive but with a shop under €50 for so many products I can’t really complain :P
